Thompson Frit Enamel for Enameling

Frit sits between 80 mesh powder and lump: coarse granules, here in 6/20 and 8/12 grades, used for bead making, swirling and grinding work where fine powder would only flow flat. The colors are vintage Thompson numbers covering transparents, opaques and opals — 111 Sapphire, 120 Ultramarine, 160 Lawn, 664 Roman Ochre and 851 Periwinkle among them. Fired at 1450 to 1550F, lead bearing, and sold by the ounce; the grade and the quantity left are noted on each listing.
