Hirosawa Painting Enamels from Japan
Japanese painting enamels for fine brushwork over a fired ground, in blue, yellow, red, white, green, black and light magenta, plus metallic gold, pink, blue and silver. Sold in 5 and 10 gram amounts or as a complete kit. Fire between 1400 and 1475F, and allow the enamel to dry fully first. All colors except H-R Red and H-M Light Magenta intermix freely; the red forms lead sulfide when mixed and can darken, so keep it separate. These are lead bearing. Hirosawa's transparent enamels are in Hirosawa Transparents.
